Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

-Our Story-

Red Tide formed in 1995 and the players are: Drew DeRieux- Guitar/vocals; Brandon Affolter- Bass; Mike Reeves- Drums/vocals. Red Tide organized and performed at several fundraisers, played in garages for parties, played local Tillamook venues and battle of the bands in the Portland Metro area. They played the Tillamook County Fair from 1996-2000. Their music style was rock but fell into the alternative-rock genre at the time. After several shows and becoming confident- they decided it was time to chronicle an album. The guys released 1 cd in 1998 recorded in October 1997 at Kaos Studios in Portland, OR. The album was called "Beautiful Disaster", contained 14 tracks and was recorded in two days. The album was mixed and mastered at Cravedog Records in Portland and a package deal was obtained. The band had pre-sold the cd's in order to make the recording and production finances. This was true "Crowd Funding" before it was even a thing! Drew, Brandon and Mike have reunited after several years of living apart being divided only by states. They have plans to record some material that had not been recorded over 20 years ago. In 2020 the guys planned for a reunion show but because of Covid it was postponed. Please check back often for updates and information.
